Unlock Your Hidden Potential

The other day, I was hosting a workshop about “unlocking your hidden potential” to an international audience and although their reasons for attending differed, one thing they had in common was the belief, that they can be more than they were currently being.

And that is what “Unlocking Your Hidden Potential” is all about.

What hidden potential lies within you?

What has been in the way of letting it out?

Imagine what it would be like to life your full potential.

Here are just a few reasons people shared in my workshop:

-Fear of failure

-Not feeling worthy

-Not being good enough

Do any of these sound familiar?

Unlocking your potential is about learning, (personal) growth and applying it over time.

It also means to believe in yourself and (initially) to get out of your comfort zone.

Remember, every expert was once a beginner.

“Listen” to your thoughts! Yes, you read it correctly. I am asking you to listen to your thoughts. You may also just call it your “inner voice”, the constant self-talk you are engaged in.

What is the conversation that is happening in your mind like? Is it telling you that you can not do it and that you should not even be trying? It may want you to play small, just so that you do not get hurt, nor make a fool of yourself.

For most people, it’s the inner critic. The voice that is holding you back from unlocking your true potential.

If this dialogue has been going on for some time, chances are that you have started to believe this voice.

Here is the good news, this inner voice does NOT define you. And you can choose to listen to it or tune it out and create thoughts that are uplifting and empowering.

Let me break this down for you.

First, what precisely is your inner critic telling you?

What would reaching your true potential look like if that “nagging” voice was quieted?

What would this voice be telling you if it was supporting your growth and success?

If we do not believe in our own success, we will not give it our best and therefore will not reach our full potential.
