In the last blog, I had asked you to check in with yourself and determine whether you are truly making an effort to achieve your goals. Did you write down 5 of your goals that you haven't achieved yet?
Today, you get to explore your clarity around your goals that you haven't achieved yet.
Many people set (vague) goals and wonder why they never achieve them.
Here are examples of those goals:
I want to earn more money.
I want to lose weight.
I want to have more time off.
What is missing with these goals is that they are NOT specific enough!
What is the exact amount you want to earn?
What is the exact weight you want to weigh?
How much more time off do you want to have?
The next step is to associate how your life will be different when you achieve your goal. How will your life be different?
How will it make you feel?
And, how will you feel when your life remains the same?
And in there lies whether you will achieve your goal or not!
Although you consciously set a goal, your subconscious mind is the driving force behind it!
Think about it this way, "Your conscious mind is the goal setter, and your subconscious mind is the goal getter", or the goal preventer for that matter.
It is when your subconscious mind associates MORE pleasure and less pain with taking action, so that you progress towards your goal, as it is associating with NOT taking action, spending your time as you have in the past and remaining the same.
Next time, you will learn how your level of confidence is and indicator for success.
